About the Amersham Site

I am a resident of Amersham and have created this site to provide information about Amersham. The site is not an official Amersham site, I run the site as a hobby and to promote Amersham. I do not speak for or represent Amersham in any official capacity. The site has been in existence since 1997. I have received many emails from the local area and around the world providing feedback, information and thank you messages.

I hope the information on this site is accurate and up to date. However, I am constantly finding new information and am grateful for any information or errors passed to me. This site is totally non commercial and non profit making - no paid for advertising is accepted, any link is for information only
The site does include adverts provided by Google. Any revenue derived from these adverts are used to pay for the hosting of the web site. All other costs are met by the web site owner.

A number of pages on this site contain large numbers of photographs. I have compressed the photographs to reduce their size, hopefully not reducing their quality too much. However, some of the pages will take a few minutes to down load. I have created the site as simply as possible to make it fast to use on a modem line
